WELCOME TO ST PETER'S CE ACADEMY, ALTON

The academy is located close to St Peter’s Parish Church and is a member of the Staffordshire University Academies Trust (SUAT) and Diocese of Lichfield.

We share Executive Leadership and Local Academy Council with St Augustine's CE Academy, Draycott in the Clay and All Saints CE Academy, Denstone. The children benefit from shared activities, sports fixures and educational visits.

St Peter's CE Academy Christian Vision

St Peter's CE Academy Christian Vision from the children's perspective:

We are proud that at St Peter’s we respect our Christian values. We feel safe because our friends are at school and it feels like home. We have amazing teachers who make lessons interesting and fun, this makes us so happy! We are a cheerful school who enjoy learning new and exciting things every day.

Quotes from the children:

“School is my home away from home.”

“I have lots of friends at school.”

“Everyone is kind and caring.”

“At school I feel happy and safe.”

Quotes from parents:

"Both my children adore school and are so happy there."

"The work in school, the home learning and online lessons, the care shown not only to the children but to us is truly appreciated."

"Words fail me when I try to express how grateful I am for the care and kindness with which you have all helped me raise my children. You have a wonderful school simply because you have incredible staff. My children have thrived with you and for that I will always be thankful."

"We will always remember her best school days with you all at St Peter's. You are her true heroes. Every child is lucky to be cared for by you. Your school is wonderful."

From a grandparent: "As a grandma and retired teacher, I see different things to parents and can only say that moving my grandchildren to St Peter's was the best thing they ever did. Great school, made by great staff."
We know and understand that:

'By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.'

Proverbs 24:3-4
