This year the Worship Council are made up of members from Year 1 to Year 4.

The Worship Council plays a vital role in the development of worship within our school.

The aims are:

  • To develop ways of ensuring that each and every member of St Peter’s CE Academy has time and space to think, reflect and connect with themselves, others and God.
  • To play an active part in the planning and deliverance of pupil-led worship.
  • To identify children who they spot demonstrating our school vision and values.

Even if a child is not a Worship Council representative they play an important part in demonstrating daily the Christian values that we are proud of. All children are encouraged to spot others carrying out the school values that show our Christian character and ethos. If anyone  spots examples of our values being carried out they can write what they have seen on a post-it note and add it to our values board in the hall.
