Christian
Distinctiveness
St Peter’s is an Aided Academy within the Diocese of Lichfield. As a church school we aim to develop and uphold our Christian distinctiveness and weave it into all aspects of school life. We work in close partnership with St Peter’s church and have the local vicar and members of the church community as Foundation governors on our Local Academy Council.
Our School is founded upon the core values of love, respect and friendship. These values were chosen by the children and time is spent exploring what is distinctively Christian about these particular values. Many other values are explicitly taught throughout the school day such as, friendship, trust and hope. We strive for excellent relationships making our school a happy place to work and learn. We believe that our school is a place where all are valued as individuals and as God’s children.
Our academy prayer
Dear God,
Throughout this school day,
Help us to learn and help us to play.
To concentrate on all we do,
To understand and remember too.
Amen
